The only reason i booked this property was because of water park for children as it was mentioned in the facilities while I was booking this property but unfortunately water park was closed at that time. I shifted from the nice city center hotel to this resort because of water park. I would request and suggest booking.com and also the property to mention only those facilities which are actually available and active. Giving false or incomplete information to guest is not good.

This is a lavish and glitzy hotel in large grounds with its own private lift which descends onto its own private beach. Excellent location for the beach but apart from that, there is nothing else nearby that we could see. Breakfast was huge, lavish and delicious. The room was large and beautiful with a view over the sea and a small balcony.

We visited at the end of December which is right at the end of the season and this meant that various of the hotel’s facilities were closed such as the aqua park, the billiards room et cetera. That didn’t bother us at all but it might be useful for someone else to know

It's the perfect place to enjoy the Caspiam sea, the beautiful spa, the amazing view from the room and the great comfort in the bedroom... we really want to go back already.

-The restaurants are a bit pricey and of correct quality, not much else.
-Sauna, steam room etc are for men only on one side and for women only on the other. You can only be together at the pools and at the beach.

the receptionist said:we can do the check out at 4pm free of charge, later called us we have to check out at 3pm.The beautician promissed that expensive permanent eye treatment will stay on the eyebrows for at least 12months,it costs 150manat,after 3days the color was washed up and scratches from needle stayed unhealed with scars

My experience with this hotel was bad from the moment I checked in. The check in process was very unorganized and chaotic. I booked a sea view suite but upon arrival I was offered an upgrade to the villa, I know it sounds nice but when I asked the villa was at the beginning of the resort with no sea view .. I explained to the receptionist that I didn’t come all the way here to stay at villa looking at the street. He explained that they are fully booked and the suite left doesn’t have a good view.. after going back and forth with the manager they managed to find a room on the second floor with an ok sea view.
Apparently the hotel was previously owned by Jumaira Group and few years ago it was acquired by Abesheron group. You could tell from the moment you step into the hotel that the new management is not investing in maintains the hotel, although it is not an old hotel, the furniture and carpets are dirty.
We spent 3 nights at the hotel and the bedsheets were not changed until I called and requested that they get changed.
We booked the full board meaning breakfast lunch and dinner. For our entire stay, the lunch and dinner menus were exactly the same.
The staff were not friendly.
Upon my checkout when I was asked about my experience I was very honest and said it was horrible. The management excuse was that they had a big group at the same time!!
I’m usually an easy going person and not demanding .. but my experience in this hotel wasn’t good at all!

The air conditioners in the rooms were too weak. During the day the room temperature did not fall below 24 degrees: just unbearable! We twice called to room service. The first time techician came to clean the filters (why not do it before the arrival of guests?) And the second time I got an original explanation: "The sun is hot" ...
In the shower of a bathroom the slope was upside down and all the water flowed, we had to use many towels to dry.
Food in a dining room was an unlikely level for a five-star hotel.
