: Upscale finishes. Located next to metro station. Staff very helpful and motivated. Beds very comfortable. Hotel located in converted historic Boston jail facility. Very interesting architecture.

: Close to Mass General....the purpose of our trip

: The rate is going to jump from the $205.00 we paid to $655.00 for the next visit we need to make to the hospital. I don’t think we can afford that.

: The building has an interesting history, the cocktail was good and the location convenient.

: Very loud club music was played in the lobby on the first night I was there. It was clearly audible in my room and I had to wear the complimentary earplugs to take a bath let alone get to sleep it was that unpleasant. Not that the sound was completely cut out. The note accompanying the earplugs about the ‘vibrant atmosphere’ and ‘live music and entertainment’ (not to mention the fact that they hand out free earplugs) suggests this is a regular occurrence. Be warned, therefore, that you might have a sleepless night here!

: Cool location and history

: Very outdated for a five star hotel. Room was not clean. Scuffed furniture and walls. Had to have housekeeping come three times to clean bathroom. Ended up cutting out stay short because of this disappointment. Staff was very courteous and tried to help but there was not much to do. Very disappointing. You’d expect more from a luxury hotel. Had been a few years ago and it was a much better experience then. Wanted to go back and expect the same. Sadly it was not. Will not go back again.

: We did not have breakfast. However the coffee and tea available in the morning were perfect to wake up to. From afar the breakfast and bloody mary bar looked excellent.

: Location was great. The bathroom was fairly spacious. The room was clean.

: The room itself was very small. The air-conditioning unit made a lot of noise the first night, apparently as s result of a tray above the refrigerator, which was next to it, was touching it and vibrating every time it came on (about every 20 minutes). Staff should be careful of their placement of the tray. The price of two nights stay, with parking, came to over $1000 for three people. It didn’t seem equal to the room/experience.
