: The hotel beach is one of the best I've ever been. Fine sand, spectacular sunsets .. The friendliness of the staff always attentive (sometimes too much). The spacious, clean, perfect rooms

: They should improve the meals. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet are quite repetitive. For lunch the menu is very fair. When they want to make dinner a la carte, they take a long time to serve you the dishes.

: There is not much you can do outside of the hotel, sea is not great for swimming or snorkeling, noise from near-by construction, super expensive transfers and laundry. Cocktails are not great.

: The hotel room, grounds and the buildings themselves are spectacular. The staff are really friendly, the beach is perfect and the pool is really nice. It was also extremely quiet but that was good for what we wanted. The plunge pool is a nice touch, but it wasn't used as there were too many insects around it. The hotel room was like a little villa and very spacious with a comfortable bed - with the Wi-Fi connection also being okay for Zanzibar. We also had a TV with English channels as we had a lot of downtime due to the rain.

: We stayed during the wet season and we got extremely wet one day and because it is so humid we needed to dry our clothes, we were charged $6 to dry 2 t-shirts and some shorts. I think this should be free as there were about three couples in the hotel at the time, it was not busy. The food was okay, we had some good meals and some bad meals. It would be helpful to acknowledge the got drinks at breakfast are not included as they are expensive and free in the room. The tours are expensive, just book with any other hotel close. The taxis are much cheaper if you book with a private taxi company, nearly half the price of what the hotel was going to charge.

: It was far from the airport, around 1hr 20 mins. HOWEVER, well worth it when you get there. The Rock nearby, approximately $10USD each way in a cab not the quoted $35. Massage facilities could improve a little, but overall lovely. The apartments were fabulous, plunge pools, 4 poster beds, properly mosquito netted. Turn down service was great. Fabulous, big shower, Massi Locals friendly and you always felt safe. Pool is amazing, beach is sensational... plenty of loungers and enough space to feel if you are there on your own. A. more finished and well put together property. Sunset is amazing, panoramic views all round. Afternoon ice teas, pancakes, and offers from the bar. Not many kids around, so completely relaxing. Stars were so clear, due to the location. Plenty of Watersport equipment and games. Feeding the monkeys was brilliant fun. somedays they will join you for breakfast!!!

: Road into location a little bumpy, but it's for something to balance toe positive. Maybe the guys selling tours on the beach. a little invasive, but security meant they leave you alone mostly. Hotel offer a $ 80 rtn transfer we had a driver and they did it for $35/40 rtn. Wifi could roll in and out sometimes, but honestly you are too busy relaxing to notice.

: The driveway needs work (many potholes) & the repeated loss of water pressure in the room. Better Wi-Fi would be a bonus but not essential.
