: The Staff.

: The whole hotel is a joke. For 200 USD we expected MUCH more but the room is SMALLLLL, OLD and horrible . Sorry for the staff they are trying their best . Everything is TOO expensive. Please guys stop to think we are all pigeons.

: The bed was very comfortable, ac working very well, bathroom excellent, we had a driver Basil very polite, helpful gentleman. Breakfast was excellent, my friend forgot her phone in the room after we checked out, the cleaning staff rang reception and we went to get the phone

: I chose this property as I could see it was located right on the Zambesi River near where boat cruises departed from. This was absolutely correct & provided a lovely tree-fringed view at breakfast, with warthogs & monkeys making full use of the surrounding areas. At check-in we were introduced to the lovely tour booking lady & immediately booked ourselves in for the sunset river cruise departing in 30mins. The tour was very sweet, with unlimited onboard drinks served by a generous bartender (double G&T's - he insisted!), bowls of peanuts & a small plate of plastic-wrapped cold snacks such as a chicken wing, samosa, spring roll etc. We got up close to numerous hippos, an elephant dust-washing himself and another family of elephants crossing the river, which was fantastic. The boat had a top deck with roof & open sides which actually got a bit chilly as sun started going down, so be prepared with a light jacket (we were there in mid-Aug). When we returned to our room it had been made up for the night with mosquito nets draped around the bed - for effect only as room was air conditioned! Bed was firm and very comfortable, bottled water was provided & there was a bar fridge in room, lots of wardrobe space however room was very small & so was bathroom. TIP FOR ALL TRAVELLERS TO ZIMBABWE: REMEMBER TO BRING U.S. DOLLARS!!! The airport requires USD$50 pp for entry visas to be paid in cash then & there. We watched some poor Europeans at passport control who thought they could pay with credit card & who didn't have enough Euros even if they would be accepted, & who were taken away, who knows what their solution was!

: Small room & small bathroom, with separate bath & shower taking up most of the floor space. Also toilet was hung very far off the floor which was strange - nearly had to jump up to sit on it & my tip toes only just reached floor when on it!! Property is larger than I imagined & our room was situated well back from the river, which I had not expected. It had a view over the well-maintained central garden area but I was expecting to be able to see the river. Property was located a long way from Victoria Falls town, although there is a shuttle bus which runs at quite spaced-out intervals. We never managed to be in the right place at the right time to take it either direction & had to reply on taxis. Breakfast buffet was OK & did have egg station for omelets & fried eggs, but if you wanted a cappuccino you made it yourself at a coffee machine crammed right next to tables of other people (mind your elbows don't get anyone in the head!), and there always seemed to be a shortage of teaspoons when I was there. Just a small thing, I know....

: Really nice pool and lovely relaxing view of the Zambezi. Staff went above and beyond the call of duty to be welcoming and helpful. Restaurant was nice. Wild Horizons desk in the hotel makes booking activities very easy

: location was fantastic with nice scenery and gardens.

: the service at breakfast was a bit indifferent.was kept waiting for 25 minutes before being offered tea or coffee and had actually finished breakfast by then.other mornings had to fetch sugar from other tables and no sign of a teaspoon on the tables.
