: Where the lodge is located unfortunately. Northern part and east coast of island is more beautiful and natural. The beach at the lodge is not very nice to go swimming. But everything else was perfect. We really enjoyed it

: I loved the property itself. It's built around ruins which are in good condition and you can see and climb on them! It's gorgeous on site with two swimming pools, panoramic views of the water, luxurious bungalows, a lovely dining area etc. The manager was also lovely and she really helped me with all my needs. They also packed me a lovely breakfast since I had to leave early in the morning. Also the dinner food was delicious.

: The 'beach' in the fishing port below is quite dirty due to all the fishing boats. I took the paddle board out which was great but getting in and out of the beach area its sad to see all the pollution and plastic around. Also, the service was really variable. I felt the lunch food offering was much too basic - bruschetta was dry bread pieces with some chipped tomatoes, nothing special and for 200$ a night I was expecting better. At happy hour, I was expecting drink discounts - was then told no, drinks are the same price but there is a free snack. So a bit confusing. My mojito was also very odd tasting and I had to go back twice to have the bartender amend it. Everyone was very well meaning but some of the staff were a bit stumped by my requests.

: there were mouse and ants in the bedroom, without slipper and iPhone charge port. Also people next to kept marking noise at 23:00, obviously, the soundproof is bad.
