This is a great resort, the pool was great & the cocktails and food was amazing. The restaurant changes the food up enough that it stays interesting.

We did an all inclusive package. We didn’t realise that you could get the ‘better’ cocktails at different bars so bar hopping was a good thing to do because they don’t advertise that u can (the pool bar was limited but at the beach bar you could get spirits etc on the all inclusive). It was disappointing that when the staff saw u had a ‘red’ wrist band meaning all inclusive, they delay the service and u basically have to hunt them down for a drink. Our friends who weren’t all inclusive continually got haggled to buy drinks. We had 2 days were our shower water was cold.

Staff are so so kind an make all effort to help you. They will rectify anything that goes wrong. All very happy. The rooms are nice an clean. Hotel is clean an has nice facilities and breakfast was tasty. People all seemed to be enjoying themselves on all inclusive.

The massage was not great truth be told - deep massage was not so deep, we were lucky we had a voucher otherwise its very expensive. TV reception is bad but you shouldn't be watching TV on holiday. Also shower in room could do with a curtain as water splashes out onto the floor. Very minor in reality.

Firmer pillows. Rooms are rustic,but neat. I think an update will only enhance the experience.

The hotel souvenir shop is well priced to match outside rates.

The snack bar is open from 1 to 4pm which is the same time as lunch so there's really no snack bar otherwise.

Everything was fine, particularly the location is the best in Nungwi! The sunset is the greatest, the sunrise was just too dreaming, and sandbank suddenly appears in front of the hotel in the afternoon!!!

Too from the airport and the road was not good condition. But once we get there, everything was perfect!!

The location and the beach bar / loungers were amazing. But mostly the staff, particularly Pascal, Emmanuel, Moloje and Leah who all helped us to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

On arrival to Zanzibar our transfer was not organised as agreed with the hotel. This caused considerable confusion and delay before the 1.5hr journey to the hotel. Once we reached the hotel, tired as you can imagine, reception seemed confused about our booking which was completed via Booking.com.
We were finally shown to our room, which was supposed to be “pool view” but was more like garden view. However, the main issue was the overwhelming smell of damp and mould. We returned to reception to request another room, here we were shown to a room 3 doors down which had the exact same issue.
Thankfully Moloje was there to assist and managed to get us a room on the 3rd floor in another block. Stating the damp smell in the other rooms was from the recent rains.
The room was better but definitely not 4*.
Our minibar was empty (which Moloje fixed the next day) but generally the room was shabby, there was multiple cracks etc throughout.
On the third morning my friend and I awoke to the sound of crunching on wood. Like an insect of some sort. It was coming from my bed.
We looked and could not find it, but made guest relations aware.
Overall, the food was good, with a great variety and themed nights for something different.
However, the “all inclusive” does come with multiple caveats. There is no alcohol in the room minibar and there is no food available in the all inclusive between 4 and 7.
It’s not a big deal but something to keep in mind when booking. Although there isn’t anything else around so all inclusive Is the only way to go.
Overall, The staff here are what makes this place enjoyable. The rooms are below par and the all inclusive doesn’t meet expectations.
We raised all issues with staff when they arose and they did what they could. But I was disappointed that we were never offered something for all of the problems, like spa vouchers. Especially as there were issues every day of our stay!

The all inclusive was really good. If you want to lay in the sun, look at the beach and have refreshments, this is the place. The staff was also very attentive and accommodating.
